Privacy and cookies

This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit evvoli.it or write to us. It applies under the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR") and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.
If the English and Italian versions differ, the Italian version prevails.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is EVVOLI SRL, Via Ponte Seveso, 28, 20125 Milan, Italy, VAT number 10212570963.
For any request about your personal data, write to [email protected].
2. What the site does not do
The site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising.
Fonts, scripts, images and the store map are served from our own server, so loading a page sends no requests to third parties.
Our forms do not send anything to our servers. They open your own email app, and nothing is sent until you send it.
3. What data we process, and why
3.1 Visiting the site
Data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and device information, recorded in the logs of the server that hosts the site.
Purpose: to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure site (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)). Kept for: up to 30 days, longer only to investigate a security incident.
3.2 Settings kept in your browser
The site keeps a few settings in your browser for the current visit only (session storage): the language switch and the Halloween effects. They are deleted when you close the tab and never reach us.
3.3 Writing to us
The support form and the air conditioner form open your email app with a message addressed to [email protected]. You can also write to us directly or call +39 02 6885 6607.
Data: your name, email address, phone number and city if you give them, the product, and the content of your message.
Purpose: to answer you, handle warranty and repair requests, and arrange the purchase and installation of an air conditioner when you ask us to.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and the warranty obligations of a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)); otherwise our legitimate interest in answering you (art. 6(1)(f)).
Kept for: 12 months after the last message. Warranty requests are kept for the length of the warranty.
3.4 Newsletter
The newsletter form opens your email app with a request to join. If you send it, we use your email address to write to you about new products, early access and offers.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). Kept for: until you unsubscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to [email protected].
4. Links to other sites
Some links take you to other sites: Amazon.it, Google Maps for directions, Instagram and LinkedIn. Those sites have their own privacy and cookie policies, which apply once you open them.
5. Who receives your data
Service providers acting on our instructions: the hosting provider (3.1) and the email provider that hosts our mailboxes (3.3 and 3.4).
For installation, the certified technician who installs your air conditioner receives your name, phone number and address.
We do not sell your data.
6. Do you have to give us your data?
No. Writing to us is voluntary. Without your name and email address, we cannot reply to you.
7. Automated decisions
We make no decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling (GDPR art. 22).
8. Minors
The site is meant for people aged 18 or over. If you are younger, please do not send us personal data without a parent or guardian. If we find that we hold data from a minor without that consent, we will delete it.
9. Your rights
Under GDPR articles 15 to 22 you can ask us to give you access to your data and a copy of it, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, send it to you or to another organisation in a common format, and stop using it where we rely on legitimate interest.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect processing before the withdrawal.
Write to [email protected]. We will reply within one month, which may be extended by two further months for complex requests.
10. Complaints
You can lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of the EU country where you live or work.
11. Cookies
evvoli.it sets no cookies, technical or otherwise, and needs no cookie banner. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
12. Changes
We will publish any change on this page and update the date at the top.
